A change of pace - charity abseil

I've always been rather scared of heights and when I saw an advert for abseiling off the Forth Road Bridge in aid of Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, something clicked in my mind and I realised I was sorely tempted. I kept trying to put it out of my mind, but finally I signed up and immediately felt sick! My wife Jeannie is going to do it with me, and we went for a 'trial run' at a local outdoor climbing centre which helped calm the nerves.
